Our spacious shop offers five Barber’s chairs and has a “mini-arcade” area towards the rear, designed to keep the children entertained while they are waiting for a cut. We believe that everyone should be given a chance to right their wrongs and get on the right path and this is why one of our ways of engaging with those who have made the wrong choices is to visit prisons round the country giving talks on how they can change their life and helping them get on the right track. Some of this includes training them in barbering and looking at ways we can get the right tools for them. we also teach of the impact of crime in the community. Route 8 Barbers started our homeless haircuts services in Swindon then Bristol and now we are happy to be offering it to people in Oxford using our Barbers in Bristol and by making regular visits to the porch day centre right in Oxford. Our plan is to use our Barbers in Bradley Stoke and our barbers in Bristol to continue to do this work which we believe is beneficial in the community we serve.
